Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Incoming Quality Technician to join our team at CrossFire Group in Auburn Hills, MI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming vehicles under LED light tunnels to identify any defects
  • Mark vehicles with white crayon to note areas of defect
  • Follow standard operating procedures per OEM direction when inspecting and noting flaws
  • Adhere to quality inspection standards based upon each differing program quality standards
  • Track, analyze, and chart C/M to Market Quality claims for Paint items
  • Driving, detailing and staging vehicles during low volume periods
  • Supporting department with quality maturation data after production has launched
  • Communicating all data to Quality Manager in conjunction with quality management standards
  • Interacting with OEM Supplier Quality teams while ensuring professional and prompt communication
Requirements
  • High school degree or GED required
  • 1-3 years of exposure to paint, inspection or quality standards in automotive
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive manual transmission
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
