Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record patient statistics, including blood pressure, weight, and vital signs
- Perform hemodialysis machine setup and maintenance
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
