Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at CAI. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing business analysis support to customers on small to medium projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document business requirements, create user interface mockups, and assist technical teams in the development and documentation of technical requirements.
  • Test resultant software, including user acceptance testing, and create instruction manuals to teach the system to end users.
  • Learn multiple complex systems and work with a team of business analysts under the supervision of the project lead and/or lead business analyst on multiple projects.
  • Perform limited project management functions as needed.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in developing systems via a structured SDLC methodology.
  • Experience with testing, training, and user support.
  • Ability to document storyboards, screen mockups, wireframes, system flows, interfaces, use cases, and business rules.
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and workflows, and propose areas for improvement.
  • Ability to gather data via diverse means (i.e. interviews, observation, surveys, existing written documentation) and interpret relevant information.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience with UI design.
  • 5 years of relevant experience; 5+ years in particular application area.
  • 4-year college degree.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
