Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist/Obstetric Technician to join our team at the Boise Family Maternity Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support during overnight c-sections, while also assisting with patient rooming, vital sign taking, and other essential tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with setup and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Provide support and communicate directly with surgical teams and supervisory staff.
  • Room patients, set up charts, take vitals, and assist with baby baths.
  • Function as a Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT required or must be licensed as an LPN in lieu of certifications.
  • Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
