Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer specializing in computer vision for unmanned aircraft systems. This role involves developing and deploying AI/ML algorithms to enhance the capabilities of UAVs in areas such as autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, object recognition, and real-time decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Computer Vision Development: Design and implement computer vision algorithms for real-time image and video processing, including object detection, classification, segmentation, and tracking.
  • AI/ML Algorithm Design and Training: Develop and train AI/ML models, using techniques like deep learning, reinforcement learning, and transfer learning, for UAV applications.
  • Integration and Testing: Work closely with hardware teams to integrate vision-based AI/ML models with UAV camera systems, sensors, and control software.
  • Data Collection and Preprocessing: Collect, preprocess, and label large datasets from UAVs (images, video, sensor data) to train AI/ML models.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize AI/ML models for low-latency, real-time processing on resource-constrained UAV systems.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in computer vision techniques and machine learning algorithms (object detection, segmentation, tracking).
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, and libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably with a focus on computer vision.
