Unwell Creative Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director to lead the creative direction of our fast-growing brand, Unwell. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive creative vision across various media and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creative Leadership: Oversee all aspects of brand identity, including visual identity, logos, key art, and overall branding strategies.
  • Design Execution: Personally design and execute key creative deliverables, including logos, visual identities, and social media content.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and content teams to develop and execute creative concepts for live events, social campaigns, partnership materials, consumer products, and content franchises.
  • IP Brand Development: Spearhead the creation and launch of innovative brands for Unwell & IP, including brand development, logo design, visual identity, photoshoots, social identity, and live event concepts.
  • Event Design & Execution: Conceptualize and oversee the creative direction of live events, ensuring all related assets align with the event's look and feel while adhering to Unwell's brand guidelines.
  • Content & Social Media: Direct and review the creative work for all social media campaigns, ensuring that the content is engaging, on-brand, and consistent across all platforms.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of experience in creative roles, with a significant portion of that time spent in a leadership capacity.
  • Creative Vision: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a cohesive creative vision across a wide range of media.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic skills with the ability to think big-picture while also managing the details.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working collaboratively with marketing, product, and content teams to align creative efforts with overall business goals.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor creative teams.
