Weekend Supervisor Opportunity at Red Rocks Center

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend Supervisor at Red Rocks Center in Gallup, NM. As a key member of our geriatric/long-term care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting the use of overtime and agency personnel.
  • Participate in staff mentorship, recruitment, and new hire orientation, and recommend employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university; BSN preferred.

* Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

* Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.

* Minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care is preferred.

* One year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred.
