POSITION OVERVIEW

Barclay Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Development Coordinator. This position will play a critical role in supporting projects across the western United States, working closely with the development team to ensure the successful execution of commercial development projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLEASE ADMINISTRATION
  • Track critical dates and Landlord delivery obligations to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Schedule and distribute Official Notices to stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate Pre-Construction Meetings with Tenants to discuss project details and address any concerns.
  • Distribute Landlord shell and site plans to Tenants for their use in project planning.
  • Track Tenant Approval Packages, including elevations, building and site layout, hardscape/landscape, etc.
  • Liaise with Tenants' Design/Planning counterparts to ensure seamless project execution.
PLANNING/CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
  • Facilitate Pad turnovers, ensuring a smooth transition from one project phase to the next.
  • Facilitate Pre-Construction Meetings with Tenants and property management to discuss project details and address any concerns.
  • Address any field coordination issues that may arise during project execution.
  • Monitor and track Tenant permitting and Construction activity to ensure compliance with project timelines.
  • Track tenant progress regarding permits and utility companies to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Review existing plans and coordinate with new tenants to ensure a seamless project execution.
SIGNAGE ADMINISTRATION
  • Distribute Sign Plans and process Tenant sign submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Review and process Tenant signage in accordance with property guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Coordinate and maintain Site Signage Programs to ensure a professional and cohesive visual identity for the project.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A team player with a strong desire to take ownership of the position and contribute to the success of the development team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new tasks quickly, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of related experience, with a Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
