About the Role:This is a full-time position in our Medical Nursing Unit, where you will work closely with a talented and passionate care team to deliver safe, quality, and accessible care to pediatric patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and documenting patient status upon arrival in the recovery room
- Providing nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
- Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing experience
