About the Job

Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. seeks a skilled Logistics Associate to join our team in Nashville, TN.

This role involves delivering orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers, as well as performing daily material handling and order picking responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Driver's License with F Endorsement and a good driving record.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
  • Daily material handler and order picker responsibilities.
  • Check all material and products received via Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx or customer returns.
  • Pull orders for shipment from warehouse and pipe yard inventory utilizing RF gun and forklift power equipment.
  • Stage and prepare orders for shipment while ensuring the items are packaged neatly.
  • Complete all shipping paperwork promptly, monitoring closely for any errors or quality discrepancies.
  • Load and secure orders onto Eastern vehicles.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of related warehouse, material handler, distribution, and delivery experience.
  • RF gun experience and Box or Dually Truck experience a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License with F Endorsement and good driving record.
  • Computer skills and basic knowledge of computer systems.
