About the Role:
- We are seeking a skilled Developmental Mechanic to join our team at GE Aviation, where you will be responsible for the assembly, disassembly, and modification of developmental products and aircraft gas turbine apparatus.
- As a key member of our team, you will set up and operate various types of balance and high-speed test equipment to balance and test rotating parts and components.
- You will also perform in-process, final, and related inspection functions, including the use of precision checking and measuring devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify developmental products and aircraft gas turbine apparatus.

- Perform in-process, final, and related inspection functions, including the use of precision checking and measuring devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in gas turbine engine assembly.
- Strong mechanical ability and proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, procedures, and directions.
- Ability to acquire and maintain various security and program clearances.
- F.A.A. Power Plant License required for new hires or re-hires after October 15, 2005.
