About the Role

CoolSys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Field Foreman to lead our project crews and ensure the successful completion of our commercial HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and mentor project crews to ensure efficient and accurate project completion
  • Prioritize and delegate responsibilities to team members
  • Communicate effectively with tradespeople on the job site and track project schedules
  • Serve as the lead technical resource on assigned projects
  • Report on job status and performance
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, GCs, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with installation policies and procedures
  • Direct and oversee the work of other apprentices and journeymen assigned to specific projects
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade program or technical school
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or other related industry/trade
  • Must have commercial HVAC foreman experience
  • Must be willing to travel and work nights
  • Ability to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders as needed
  • Ability to ensure safe work practices and compliance with safety policies
  • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal laws
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to use computer tools including email, word, and project planning software
