Location Overview

The renowned Arizona Biltmore is situated in the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood of Phoenix. Known as the "Jewel of the Desert," this stunning 39-acre resort has undergone a significant restoration and features over 700 rooms, extensive banquet facilities, and multiple dining options.

Position Summary

As a Pool Safety Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to monitor guests utilizing the pool slide and execute designated rescue protocols to ensure their safety in accordance with local, state, and federal health regulations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Performing slide shift responsibilities.
  • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of pool areas while delivering exceptional service to guests.
  • Setting up, maintaining, and resetting restaurant tables and cabanas.
  • Opening and closing pool areas as per the established schedule and guidance from management.
  • Continuously ensuring the cleanliness and orderly arrangement of pool and deck areas, including towels and furniture.
  • Supporting the Pool Concierge with towel distribution.
  • Engaging with guests in the pool area to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Escorting guests to their desired locations as needed.
  • Expediting food service and clearing tables.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to minimizing risks of injury to guests and associates, as well as protecting property. Knowing the appropriate actions to take in emergencies and executing them effectively.
This is a full-time position requiring availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Preferred experience of six (6) months or more as a Lifeguard.
  • Current lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications are preferred, with the ability to meet prerequisites for obtaining Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification.
