We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Highway Maintenance Workers. As a Highway Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine manual tasks requiring medium to heavy physical effort, involving exposure to all kinds of weather conditions. You will also be expected to operate plows during winter operations and obtain the necessary equipment certifications.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine manual tasks requiring medium to heavy physical effort, involving exposure to all kinds of weather conditions.

- Obtain necessary equipment certifications.
- Respond to emergency callouts within 1 hour during inclement weather, including all snow and ice conditions.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Pass a pre-employment physical/medical examination and drug test.
- Possess a valid Class D Driver License for Highway Maintenance Worker Trainee 1, or a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with no airbrake restriction for Highway Maintenance Worker Trainee 2.
- Meet specific criteria for bypassing the pre-employment physical, including a valid CDL A or B and a current CDL Medical Certificate (form MCSA 5876).
Individuals selected must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency callouts within 1 hour during inclement weather, including all snow and ice conditions.
Additional InformationThe starting salary for the Highway Maintenance Worker Trainee 1 is $46,567, comprised of a base salary of $37,567 and an additional geographic pay differential of $9,000. The starting salary for the Highway Maintenance Worker Trainee 2 is $48,644, comprised of a base salary of $39,644 and an additional geographic pay differential of $9,000. The starting salary for the Highway Maintenance Worker 1 is $50,880, comprised of a base salary of $41,880 and an additional geographic pay differential of $9,000.
