GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Partners Maintenance and Engineering Division is seeking several candidates for our client in Rome Ga. for  Maintenance Technicians role for 2nd shift Monday - Friday 4:30pm to 12:30am.

Maintenance Equipment Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of PLC-controlled, robotic, welding and material handling systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Troubleshoot various equipment issues and determine if the problem is mechanical, electrical or from the systems controlling process.

·       Work with hand tools and various instruments (wrenches, multimeters, etc.).

·       Use measurement tools to verify that components meet print specifications (calipers, indicators, etc.).

·       Create and conduct machine/equipment preventative maintenance activities.

··       Work with co-workers, customers and/or vendors in a courteous and tactful manner to resolve issues as they arise.

·       Will work on resolving and troubleshooting issues with robotic welders and their PLC programs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

·       A 2-year degree in Industrial Maintenance, preferred

·       Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an industrial multi-craft and/or automation position.

         Previous Mechanical and Electrical and some robotics preferred.
