Coating Extrusion Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Coating Extrusion Specialist to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a Coating Extrusion Specialist, you will be responsible for operating extrusion machines that apply coating onto a conductor through a curing process and package it safely.

• Safety and Quality: Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are performed according to specific Job Safety Practices (JSP) established for this job.
• Maintenance and Operation: Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to General Cable Corporation health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.
• Quality Control: Monitor line control devices, adjust machine controls, and examine wire for conformance to specifications.
• Data Management: Use HFA program to record and tag data such as scrap and finished goods, maintain accurate data and information on quality logs, production reporting, and documentation.

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Skills and Abilities: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills; verbal communication and listening skills appropriate for a manufacturing environment.
• Work Environment: Corrected vision to 20/20, able to lift up to 50 pounds, frequent manual pushing/pulling, scooting, sliding, rotating, or rolling product or objects.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000, depending on experience and location.
