Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cashier Operations Manager to join our team at 99 Ranch Market. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cash registers, handling customer transactions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Registers: Properly operate cash registers, handle all types of transactions, and assist customers with packaging.
  • Assist Store Operations: Assist store operations to increase efficiency and participate in the recruiting and managing process.
  • Train Team Members: Provide training to team members on proper customer service etiquette, POS operation, packaging rules, and other cashier department operations.
  • Oversee Cashier Operations: Oversee cashier operations, including using POS devices, building and retaining customer relationships, updating product prices, performing batch-related tasks, and other customer services.
  • Respond to Customer Inquiries: Properly respond to customer returns, exchanges, questions, requests, suggestions, and complaints.
  • Product Knowledge: Show knowledge about all products to serve customer needs.
  • Accident Reporting: Report accidents, violations, and other incidents.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain clean and safe working environments.
  • Asset Control: Control, safeguard, and monitor store assets and related procedure implementation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify potential issues and propose improvement plans.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Work Experience: Previous related work experience and leadership experience.
  • Cashier Register Knowledge: Knowledge of cashier registers and POS devices.
  • Product Recognition: Ability to memorize and recognize products.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Accommodate to flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays or rotating schedules.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, customer service, time management, and critical thinking skills.
  • Personnel Management: Good understanding of personnel resource management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25+ lbs, and make repetitive finger and wrist movements.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in English/Chinese/Cantonese is a plus.
  • Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
