A HEDIS Coder/Abstractor is sought by PSG Global Solutions Careers to review medical records, document clinical data, and extract relevant details for HEDIS reporting. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in HEDIS and/or quality improvement, as well as medical coding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extract Clinical Data: Identify and extract clinical data within medical records, applying medical coding rules and guidelines to assign appropriate codes.
  • Assign Medical Codes: Utilize software programs and reference materials to identify codes, navigating clinical software applications to assign medical codes efficiently.
  • Analyze and Communicate: Analyze data and communicate with others to ensure accurate and complete medical record collection.

In this role, the successful candidate will be able to work independently, follow up on queries, and ensure that medical record collection is complete and compliant.
