About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Lexington, Massachusetts. As an Operating Room (OR) nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive hospital environment.

Job Description

This is a travel nursing assignment that requires 36 hours of work per week, with an estimated duration of 15 weeks. The shift schedule is 8 hours, with days off available. Our client values flexibility and is open to discussing alternative schedules as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the OR setting, including pre- and post-operative care
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certifications and stay up-to-date on industry developments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid RN license for Massachusetts
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
Compensation

The estimated weekly payment for this position is $2650-$2810, with an additional non-taxable stipend of approximately $1610. This translates to an hourly rate of $26-$30, assuming an 8-hour shift. Please note that these figures are subject to change based on shift length and other factors.
