Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on lawn and garden machinery as directed by the Service Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop, including tools, vehicles, and inventory.
- Perform complete disassembly and inspection of equipment to facilitate timely parts ordering and scheduling of machine work.
- Document all repairs, parts, and supplies utilized during service operations.
- Communicate with the Service Writer regarding any additional repairs needed for optimal equipment performance and safety.
- Work primarily in the shop, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
The role requires frequent movement around and under machinery, with the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Technicians may also need to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
Work Environment:Work is conducted on hard surfaces within the shop, with potential exposure to dirt, grease, and noise. Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Travel Requirements:This position involves minimal travel.
