Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

Camin Cargo Control is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our laboratory services and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the Quality Assurance schedule for all laboratories within specified areas of responsibility.
  • Complete and maintain laboratory quality records, ensuring documentation and files are accurate, complete, and within acceptable tolerances.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate control charts based on the guidelines documented in the Laboratory Quality Program SOP.
  • Audit laboratory records and laboratory personnel training records for compliance to appropriate SOP.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of calibration and control standards for various locations.
  • Assist the Laboratory Manager in the ordering of equipment and supplies for the laboratory.
  • Provide scheduled status reports for various locations indicating exceptions to the quality schedule, equipment status, training status, TMA status, and status of open corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferable Science Degree) or a minimum of two years in the petroleum industry or a minimum of one year of Quality Assurance experience.
  • Proficiency with computer software and ability to work well with Excel-style spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work well both individually and in a team to complete projects.
