Our mission is to prioritize behavioral health, offering vital support to individuals facing substance abuse and mental health issues.

Each facility within the Advanced Recovery Systems network is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care, employing evidence-based therapeutic practices that yield positive outcomes.

Our aim is to empower individuals, including men, women, and adolescents, to lead fulfilling lives free from the constraints of substance abuse and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
The Financial Support Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering extensive support to clients.

This position ensures adherence to State and Federal regulations, conducts weekly assessments of discharge needs, and formulates personalized aftercare plans, which include scheduling ongoing care appointments and coordinating continued care requirements with relevant parties.

This role necessitates collaboration with the treatment team to synchronize aftercare plans and assist clients with employment and legal matters.

Moreover, the Financial Support Coordinator collaborates closely with Facility Leadership to provide timely financial assistance, addressing insurance inquiries and collecting necessary payments as directed by the Admission Department for each client.

To contribute effectively to the success of the facility, the Financial Support Coordinator will:

Core Duties:

  • Maintain open lines of communication and collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team to address aftercare and discharge planning needs.

  • Develop tailored aftercare appointments in partnership with clients.
  • Ensure follow-up appointments are scheduled within one week of discharge with a behavioral health provider.

  • If a client is on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), confirm that they have an appointment with a MAT provider post-discharge.
  • Coordinate directly with relevant parties to ensure ongoing care needs are met.
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and private pay fees within 24 hours of client admission.
  • Assist clients in maintaining focus on their treatment by addressing employment and legal concerns.
  • Conduct weekly assessments of discharge needs and create individualized aftercare plans.
  • Validate clients' benefits and financial responsibilities using online platforms.

  • Adhere to established procedures for the collection of patient responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of collection policies and procedures, particularly regarding co-pays, insurance deductibles, payment plans, and upfront private pay payments.

  • Assist clients with COBRA election while securing payment confirmation.
  • Collaborate with the Admission Team to identify solutions and collect outstanding funds.
  • Ensure clients complete necessary consents and agreements within the required timeframe.

  • Facilitate the completion of repayment agreements for any uncollectable co-pays or deductibles.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field, Finance/Accounting, or Medical Management is preferred, along with a minimum of a high school diploma.

Preferred experience includes one to two years in the medical, behavioral healthcare, or financial sectors.

Familiarity with community resources and proficiency in addressing financial issues and policies is essential.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and more.
