Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team at Adecco. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that focus on low-cost national opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve best-in-class pricing and terms
  • Support the negotiation and execution of agreements to reach lowest total cost, including terms to mitigate economic and currency fluctuations
  • Develop expertise on procurement of commodities related products and components that support Aerospace requirements
  • Process Requests for Quote (RFQ's) and purchase orders for sourcing goods and services to achieve savings based on targeted specifications
  • Create and execute supplier rationalization plans and support transition to existing and/or new suppliers
  • Develop Long Term Agreement (LTA) strategies with selected suppliers
  • Maintain a complete and current supplier database following strict process requirements
  • Strategically travel on an as needed basis to suppliers to build and maintain visibility of company and individual status to ensure schedules meet business expectations
  • Prepare status reports and create supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for on time delivery performance, quality performance
  • Prepare Purchase Part Variance (PPV) status and report to senior management. Ability to explain trends and reasons for variances
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Material Management, Economics, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred
  • 5-8 years of supply chain experience, ideally with a background in aerospace
  • Demonstrated experience in creating sourcing strategies that focus on low-cost national opportunities, including negotiating contracts
  • Proven track record in supporting the negotiation and execution of agreements
  • Proficiency in procurement best practices, supplier management, and contract negotiations

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
