About the Role

As a Counselor in our Community Based Program at George Junior Republic Preventative Aftercare, you will provide trauma-informed care to at-risk youth and families. You will engage with clients using evidence-based practices and various treatment modalities, while fostering collaboration with schools, mental health agencies, and community organizations.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum two years' experience in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Professional licensure preferred but not required
  • Must live in/near the county
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Able to work a non-traditional schedule

Salary Range: $62,000 - $72,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
