About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Water Resources Engineer/Designer to join our expanding team at VHB. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with experts on cutting-edge projects in stormwater management, hydrology and hydraulics analysis, culvert and bridge design, and resiliency efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tasks under the supervision of the project manager on multi-disciplinary projects with hydrologic, hydraulic, stormwater design or water quality focus.
  • Prepare and review stormwater management and natural system design drawings and specifications.
  • Develop project proposals, scopes of work and fee estimates.
  • Mentor junior staff in both technical and professional aspects.
  • Responsible for project task management including task financial performance.
Requirements
  • BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources engineering or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of professional water resources engineering and analysis experience.
  • Experience preparing design plans & specifications, and preparing technical reports.
  • Experience with task management and people management/mentoring.
  • Experience with hydrologic/ hydraulic modeling and stormwater policy and permitting preferred.
