At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing a cloud-based platform that integrates development and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a cloud-based platform that enables efficient delivery of high-quality, secure software.
- Implement DevSecOps tools and automation to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and accelerate release cycles.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions.
- Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management.
- Provide operational support for the platform.
Requirements:
- Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience.
- Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker.
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent).
- A U.S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab).
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
- Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore).
- Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization.
- Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework.
- Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration.
- Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems.
- Experience with RedHat Linux.
- Experience with Cloud based technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)/ Commercial Cloud Services (C2S).
