Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at RSM US LLP. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in providing tax consulting and advisory services to our clients, focusing on revenue recognition, expense, capitalization, cost recovery, and inventory accounting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support for tax-saving and risk mitigation opportunities
- Work with industry-specific teams to identify and develop strategies around emerging technical issues
- Train RSM professionals on accounting methods
- Research, address, and consult on technical issues specific to revenue and cost recognition, inventory, capitalization, and cost recovery
- Monitor guidance issued by the Internal Revenue Service/Department of the Treasury and new legislation relevant to tax accounting
- J.D./Tax LL.M. or CPA
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Ability to resolve issues quickly; well organized with strong management skills
- 5+ years of experience in tax accounting methods & periods
