Responsibilities
  • Triage pets as they arrive at the clinic, providing a safe and comfortable environment for them to receive care.
  • Interview pet owners to obtain a thorough patient history, ensuring we have a complete understanding of each pet's needs.
  • Take vital signs and acquire blood samples, using your knowledge of animal care and handling to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Assist with surgeries and monitor animals after surgery, providing top-notch care and attention to detail.
  • Administer medications and provide at-home dosage instructions for clients, ensuring they have the information they need to care for their pets.
  • Keep accurate patient records, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of animal care and handling.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners and clinic staff.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of patience and a love for animals.
