About this Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Abode Care Partners. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to seniors and patients with complex needs in the comfort of their own homes, assisted living facilities, or independent living communities.
Responsibilities:
As a Nurse Practitioner with Abode Care Partners, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating patient medical needs. This includes examining and treating chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and other injuries or illnesses. You will also order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed, collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care, and maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an active state Nurse Practitioners license, Current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification, and Active state DEA licensure. A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and five or more years of nursing experience, with at least two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred, are also required. Strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in medical instruments and equipment are essential. You will also need to be familiar with HIPAA and OSHA regulations and have a strong knowledge base of computer-based data management programs, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
