Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Serve as a visible leader within the medical group and the overall health network, providing guidance and direction to providers and staff, and ensuring the alignment of divisional goals with the organization's overall objectives.
- Decision Making: Assemble, interpret, and use data to make informed decisions, collaborate and build consensus, and respond to issues in a timely manner.
- Strategic Planning & Vision: Help execute on the strategic direction for the organization, including the development of strategic plans, tactical plans, capital needs, and improvements.
- Quality & Patient Safety: Collaborate with clinical leadership to establish and monitor performance of quality metrics, align goals with employment agreements, payor contracts, and compensation models.
- Patient Experience: Design systems and lead operations to provide an extraordinary patient experience in every interaction between staff and patients.
- Labor Planning, Recruitment, and Onboarding: Routinely survey the needs of the community, Cone Health Medical Staff, Service Lines, and CHMG for provider needs, and translate these needs into business plans for the recruitment and hire of new/replacement physicians/APPS.
- Compensation Modeling and Administration: Partner in the creation, negotiation, alignment, and administration of provider compensation models throughout CHMG and CHMG Compensation Committee.
- Population Health Orientation: Collaborate with medical and administrative leadership in the analysis and translation of Value-Based Payment data into meaningful operational change.
- Financial Management: Prepare capital and operating budgets, monthly variance analysis, and presentation of financial statements to senior leadership.
- Education: Master's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
- Experience: Five (5) years of general Practice Management experience, five (5) years of budgetary management experience, and preferred experience in managing multispecialty physician practices.
- Licensure/Certification: MGMA CMPE certification within 36 months from date of hire.
