Job Overview

The Technician for Technical Services will expertly diagnose and repair beverage dispensing systems, including fountains, vendors, and coolers, ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves managing tools and parts efficiently while maintaining accurate records and reports in accordance with Company standards. The technician will provide outstanding customer service and communication to both internal and external clients of Coca-Cola Consolidated, as well as promote revenue-generating services through the Equipment Reutilization Solutions program.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair beverage dispensing equipment to meet customer expectations, while managing tools and parts effectively and maintaining records in compliance with Company standards.
  • Utilize handheld devices to ensure accurate tracking of deliveries, removals, and inventory management.
  • Drive responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws, and maintain a safe working environment by completing all safety training and inspections as required.
  • Ensure proper handling and accountability for all necessary tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Complete all required training and maintain up-to-date documentation related to equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to drive and work for extended periods.
  • Proficient in using refrigeration tools, electrical devices, and general hand tools.
  • Willingness to work in various environments, including outdoor conditions.
  • Experience in electrical or refrigeration fields is required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Relevant knowledge gained through up to 12 months of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license.
  • EPA Level 1 Refrigeration certification preferred or the ability to obtain this certification within 6 months.
  • Capability to achieve forklift and pallet jack certification.
  • Ability to pass company certification programs for equipment repair and safety.

The work environment may vary, including exposure to various weather conditions and customer storage areas that may not be temperature-controlled.
