As a Registered Radiology Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct radiologic examinations and fluoroscopic procedures for patients across all age groups. Ensuring patient safety is of utmost importance in this role.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Registered Technologist credentials from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and pathological conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of radiology procedures, including general radiography, portable imaging, and fluoroscopic studies.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate interpretation, delivered promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical data and imaging results.
  • Address equipment issues promptly and notify management as necessary.
  • Educate patients about procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Assist in scheduling and prioritizing patient examinations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of radiology equipment.
  • Support Radiologists during various imaging procedures.
  • Manage image acquisition, archiving, and transmission through PACS.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities.
  • May rotate through different imaging modalities and locations as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Certifications Required:

  • Registered Technologist credential from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing.
  • Current state licensure prior to employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Experience:

  • Preferred: Minimum of one year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift or assist with lifting patients and handling equipment regularly.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Adhere to standard precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
