- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal safety and compliance regulations, staying informed about industry trends and emerging issues.
- Train and educate staff on safety protocols and compliance requirements, fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and safety violations, collaborating with property managers to address and resolve safety and compliance issues.
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all safety and compliance activities, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety and compliance role, preferably in property management, with a strong background in OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- OSHA 30 certification and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct thorough inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
