• Provide personal care and assistance to clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

• Assist clients with mobility and transfer, including walking, standing, and using assistive devices.

• Administer medications and perform vital signs as required.

• Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages according to client needs and preferences.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.

• Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and other activities as needed.

• Document services provided, including client progress, medication administration, and any concerns or issues.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement client care plans.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency policies and procedures.

• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from a recognized program.

• One year of experience in caregiving or home care within the past five years.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull clients as needed.

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Working Conditions
