Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at CleanSlate Centers Inc. As a Medical Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, supporting medical providers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for their healthcare visit with a focus on excellent patient care
  • Perform phlebotomy, review and update patient medical history, and obtain vital signs and COWS scores as needed
  • Administer medication injections, schedule patient appointments, and scan patient documents into our Electronic Health Record
  • Perform medication counts, contact patients for follow-up, and maintain laboratory supplies and PPE
  • Assist providers with prescription management, collect urine screens, and prepare samples for send-out testing
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of experience in a fast-paced medical office preferred
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant, EMT, or LPN program required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to use and document in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Demonstrate compassion, excellent interpersonal and clinical skills, and the ability to work with a wide variety of people
