We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Foundations for Living. This part-time position offers a convenient day shift schedule and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret physician prescriptions and medication orders, ensuring accuracy and determining formulas and ingredients needed.
- Monitor patient profiles to ensure accuracy, drug allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapy, and incompatibilities are realized, and better patient care is received.
- Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
- Prepare IV admixtures and extemporaneous parenteral products under aseptic conditions.
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff, including interviewing and assisting in the hiring process, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
- Current Pharmacist certification or licensure in the state of Nevada.
- 5 years of experience preferred.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification.
