About the Role:

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring that all units are manufactured to sales agreement, Morgan's engineering drawings, standards, and specifications. This includes:

  • Inspecting and ensuring all units are manufactured to sales agreement.

  • Directing others within the work area to complete rework items.
  • Conducting in-process quality audits and reviewing standards and specification requirements with production supervisor when errors or defects are detected.
  • Performing final inspection function per Morgan and Customer specification and standards.
  • Working with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and budgetary goals are met.
  • Directing and coordinating the quality process, providing continuous quality improvements, and ensuring the integrity of Morgan's product quality, manufacturing, certification, and release activities.
  • Training the workforce on quality standards and specifications.
  • Adhering to the company safety regulations and assisting in the training and awareness of safety guidelines to new employees in the department.
  • Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience in a quality control/quality assurance position. Prefer 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or a quality assurance environment.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and follow established safety and procedures.
  • Computer experience using Microsoft Office.
