Senior Controls Technician Job Description

Edison Smart® is seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. As a key member of our system integration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement building automation systems using KMC Controls and the Niagara Framework
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues on complex problem resolution
  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide proactive solutions
  • Develop and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and performance

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Experience with KMC Controls, Distech Controls, and/or Honeywell
  • Programming experience with BACNet
  • Experience installing, commissioning, servicing, and programming building automation systems
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Years of experience are not as important as being proactive, hardworking, and looking to elevate your career
  • Experience working on various projects, including education, municipalities, commercial office, government, military, and institutional
