We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Birthday Party Host to join our team at Discovery Place. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host birthday parties with groups of children and adults, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
• Coordinate the setup and cleanup of party areas, including decorations, tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages, including cake, snacks, and refreshments.
• Lead activities and games, such as arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth event execution.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 months related experience preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Salary Range: $15-$20 per hour
