Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and implement age-appropriate curricula, utilizing state-of-the-art teaching methods and materials, including computers, iPads/tablets, and various applications.
  • Individualized Implementation Plans: Develop and implement individualized implementation plans with input from each assigned participant, monitoring progress and providing input on setting annual goals.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each assigned participant, documenting attendance, goal(s), current level(s) of functioning, plan(s) for attaining goals, and any progress made.
  • Supervision and Guidance: Assign duties to and supervise volunteers in the class, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Transportation and Accompaniment: Transport participants as assigned by the Adult Day Training Manager, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training and professional development opportunities to ensure state-mandated training and annual continuing education requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Age 18 years or older
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Working Conditions

The work environment is primarily indoor, with low to moderate noise levels and occasional disruptions in routine. The position may also require working in various outdoor settings.
