Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief Program Security Officer (CPSO) in managing personnel and implementing security protocols for information, physical, and technical safeguards.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of essential documentation and reports related to program security requirements.
  • Engage in daily security operations to protect physical spaces and sensitive materials.
  • Interpret and apply relevant program directives, regulations, and guidelines effectively.
  • Ensure the proper handling, transmission, and safeguarding of classified materials and documents.
  • Facilitate the certification of visitor clearances and access to secure areas.
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours as needed.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing their career in security and is eager to contribute significantly to the security operations.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; additional formal education is advantageous.
  • Have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in program security, though this is preferred rather than mandatory.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Exhibit a strong desire to learn and grow within the Program Security domain.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Display a proactive work ethic and the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Showcase critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Physical Demands:

  • The role requires the ability to navigate stairs in facilities without elevators, operate heavy doors, and travel between buildings.

Security Clearance:

  • This position mandates U.S. citizenship and an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance. The selected candidate will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
