Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities to physicians.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of images and documents to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Maintain equipment in good working order, reporting any issues or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized department environment, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and other designated spaces.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 1 month of hire date.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography within 12 months of hire date.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's degree within 6 months of hire, or a Technical degree within 6 months of hire.
