Position Summary
We are in search of a qualified Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot (IFR/PIC) (EC135) to join our team. The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) will oversee all aspects of flight operations, ensuring adherence to the utmost safety protocols and representing the company with professionalism in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities
The PIC will:

  • Maintain ultimate authority over the operation of the assigned aircraft.
  • Engage with customers, colleagues, and management in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Adhere to the established work and training schedules.
  • Participate in meetings as required.
  • Comply with all operational guidelines and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and confirm aircraft readiness.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned aircraft.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess the following:

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Certificate and Instrument Helicopter Rating (Airline Transport Pilot Rotorcraft preferred).
  • FAA 2nd Class Medical (1st Class may be required at certain locations).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Minimum flight experience: 2,000 total hours, including 1,200 hours in helicopters and 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command.
  • Experience in air medical operations and single pilot IFR operations is preferred.

Physical Requirements
Candidates must be capable of:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Hearing and responding to routine aircraft sounds.

Work Environment
This position involves a full-time schedule with a 7 on / 7 off rotation, including 12-hour shifts. Opportunities for additional work may arise based on program needs.
