Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography techniques and examinations, conducting a variety of CT procedures, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations, including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing.
  • Operate CT equipment and select technical factors to produce high-quality images.
  • Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation and ensure proper identification on images.
  • Document all related data and provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, and the general public.
  • Identify, process, transfer, and archive patient exams, including exam records, images, and patient demographics.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Technical Diploma in Radiology Program required.
  • Computed Tomography (CT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 12 months.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pediatric experience.
  • Basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging, picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and radiology information systems.
  • Intermediate proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office.
