Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team at The Georgian Lakeside. As a Cook, you will have the opportunity to connect with and positively impact the lives of our residents daily.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare fresh, nutritious, appealing, and delicious meals for our residents, team members, prospective residents, families, and guests.
- Expedite and serve all meals in a courteous and timely manner.
- Check and restock all foods for proper service.
- Aid in all kitchen operations as needed.
- Positive team player attitude and love working with people.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Culinary School or a minimum of one year in professional kitchen surroundings.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife handling skills.
- Ability to read and execute a recipe.
- Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes.
- Creative culinary and prep skills.
- Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is a plus.
