Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at MaineGeneral Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care and wellness through rooming, vital signs, and medical record reconciliation.
  • Collect statistics and prepare patients for medical staff visits.
  • Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection as required.
  • Communicate patient condition changes to medical staff and document patient care.
  • Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering and stocking.
  • Perform administrative duties, including filing, reception, scheduling, and data entry.
Requirements
  • Previous work experience as a Medical Assistant or certification by an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Possession of an associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited school.
