Job Summary:

The Enterprise Client Architect role at HP is a high-value position within the IT department, focusing on engineering advanced solutions for delivering services to HP's client endpoints.

This role requires a versatile client professional skilled in multi-platform technologies, with expertise in managing various client controls to ensure a holistic approach to client management, data security, and software compliance.

The ideal candidate will work closely with multiple teams, including HP's CyberSecurity team, HP IT's Architecture and Engineering teams, and HP's business units, to maintain a coherent client management environment and ensure appropriate considerations for quality, reliability, sustainability, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and standardize client services that balance employee experience, technical functionality, and CyberSecurity compliance.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, configuration, and management of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) deployment on HP managed endpoints.
  • Integrate ZIA with other network components, such as firewalls, load balancers, and identity providers.
  • Assess the security posture of ZIA deployments and identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and document Palo Alto Networks Prisma and on-prem GlobalProtect VPN network designs.
  • Integrate GlobalProtect with other network components, such as firewalls, load balancers, and identity providers.
  • Offer technical advice and support to VPN engineers, administrators, and helpdesks.
  • Partner with managed service providers to ensure the continuous and optimal performance of client solutions through regular maintenance activities, updates, and patches.
  • Recommend, implement, and maintain client policies, providing continuous improvement based on best practices.
  • Work with IT Architecture to research overall client technology, platforms, and vendors to recommend best-in-breed solutions based on technical requirements and business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT architecture, IT support, cybersecurity, and compliance, to integrate client solutions into higher-level security or IT architectures.
  • Conduct training sessions for cross-functional teams on relevant client solutions, best practices, and features on an as-needed basis.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years working in enterprise networking environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to own projects, track progress, and follow through to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport and key relationships with globally diverse teams, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Mastery of applications needed to perform job functions, such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Teams, Zoom, etc.
