Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services, including invasive and non-invasive ventilator management, airway management, aerosol medication administration, and chest physical therapy. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy and hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to all age groups
  • Manage ventilators and airways
  • Administer aerosol medications
  • Perform chest physical therapy
  • Conduct blood gas acquisitions and analyses
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response situations
  • Support neonatal resuscitation efforts
  • Transport ventilator patients
  • Teach respiratory-focused patient education
Requirements
  • 1 Year Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Preferred
  • Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist Required
  • NC Respiratory Care Practitioner Required
  • Basic Life Support Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Required
Work Schedule

7P - 7A, every third weekend
