Job Summary:

  • Respond to emergency medical situations and provide care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
  • Coordinate response activities with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop a plan of care for patients.
  • Lead a team of responders to conduct triage, develop treatment plans, and administer medical care to patients.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of emergency medical equipment and vehicles through regular checks.
  • Assist in the cleaning of station locations and interact with other emergency responders at scenes.
  • Perform related administrative tasks, including completing necessary paperwork and documenting patient care.
  • Handle hazardous materials and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations for Infection Control and Hazardous Materials Standards.
  • Respond to multiple casualty incidents and disasters, providing medical oversight, triage, care, and transport as needed.
  • Participate in periodic in-service training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on Emergency Medical Services requirements.
