Pharmacy Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications and providing patient counseling.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy systems and software.
